Ok….seriously, I’ve got no idea on wad to post n I don’t even know wad I’ve been doin’ for this holiday besides continuing my research on DSLRs. I don’t even know why I’ve got interest on that suddenly. I guess it started during national service…=D Well, I’ve no intention on telling u guys bout’ how the story starts…=P DSLRs, huh…a thing that most of the non-photographers dislike the most due to it’s size. Well, I’ve got that kind of impressions on it juz b4 I realize that the size doesn’t matter. I’ve always been thinking of compact digital still cameras like the DSC-T300. It has a great finishing touch, slim, lightweight, touch screen and Full HD. There’s no doubt bout’ it’s beauty compared to the DSLR…but then, u can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Even if T300’s the flagship model of Sony compact digital stills, it’s no match even to the entry level of DSLRs in terms of graphical quality. I know not bcoz of I’ve try any DSLR, but, I’ve explore the secrets behind a DSLR.
Advance CMOS sensors, high speed CCDs, better exposure and faster shutter speed are some of the features of DSLR which directly means that it could capture better images compare to digital stills( any normal cameras). Even if u’re not a pro photographer, these high tech electronics will do the job for u. All u need to do is juz know how to bring ‘em out. Now, I’ve got some hints on why some of my frens like DSLR that much. MK for example…=D
Well, though it’s nice to have one, there’s a ‘price’ to pay..hehe. So, I’ve run a more detailed research which reveals the different levels of DSLRs which is the entry-level for beginners, mid-level for experts and high-end level for enthusiasts. Obviously, the price tag will be different as well. The cheapest among DSLRs is the entry-level models and the high-end models is the most expensive. Basic entry-entry level will cost less than RM2k like the Sony α200 while the most expensive high-end model available in the market is the Nikon D3 which cost about RM16k+… Well, I’ve discovered a weird hypothesis which is proven…’ the more expensive the DSLR, the uglier it looks’…seriously…=D. U can check it out urself through the internet…
